THE BISHOP

The Anglican Church world over is Synodically governed and Episcopally co-coordinated.  What this means is that at the head of co-ordination in the Anglican Church is the Bishop. The Bishop of Anglican Diocese of Calabar is the Rt. Rev. Tunde Adeleye.He is the second Bishop of the Diocese and had his theological training at the Immanuel College of Theology Ibadan.  He has a first degree in English and literal Studies and also attended the Haggai Institute of Advanced Leadership training in Singapore, South East Asia.  He is evangelical and charismatic.  He is in his fifties and had held several Christian leadership positions in Nigeria such as Fellowship of Evangelical Students (NIFES), Scripture Union (SU), Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Nigeria Christian Graduate Fellowship (NCGF), Nigeria Christian Corpers Fellowship (NCCF), Christian Council of Nigeria (CCN), to mention a few.  He has a demonstrable evidence of the power of the Holy Spirit and is a gifted preacher, prophet and teacher.  He has been invited to conferences seminar and Group meeting to preach in many parts of the world.  His ministry has witnessed large scale healing and life changing testimonies.  He is married with five children.  His wife is a Nursing Administrator in the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital.
