NEXT STEP
In the next quarter (April to June):
I. We will still be closely looking at the theme of praise. This time
around, we will look at the examples of those people who praise God in
the Bible and see what we can learn from those great Bible characters.
II. We will embark on a plan action captioned “OPERATION CONFIRMATION
CONSTRUCTION AND CONSOLIDATION” (The 3 Cs) what this simply means is
that by the grace of God we will be going round to confirm all our
claims in terms of number of churches, landed property, productivity of
workers etc, whether they are still existing and functional as we know
them: The Diocese id quite large. It takes about 7 hours to travel from
one part of the Diocese to another. So, we need to confirm our growth
data.
In the same way since 80% of our churches are new we want to be able to
squarely face the responsibilities of making church buildings available
for the new churches established. It is inconceivable to imagine that
the churches that are just being established will be able to build its
own church building. This is not possible and the onus is now on the
entire Diocese to source for money everywhere to build these church
building. The prototype that was put on ground will cost about $2,300.00
per building without pews, puilt and any furniture and other ecstatic
whatsoever. This is a major programme under construction. Under this,
too, repairs will be carried out on existing building. The third aspect
on this will be to look for money to build a Bishopscourt for the Bishop
of the Diocese.
While we are busy fulfilling number (ii) above we will also need to
start, before the end of the year, surveying the several hecters of land
donated to the Diocese by various native committees. The Land(s)
situated all over the Diocese must be surveyed and taken care of before
people begin to encroach on them
