PARTNERSHIP NETWORK
3 years ago, the Diocese was able to link up with a Deanery in the
Diocese of Portsmouth,
United Kingdom. Almost soon after that the Deanery also linked up
with another Diocese in Nigeria making it two Dioceses to a Deanery.
However, the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity is working out a direct link
between it and St. Mary’s Church,
Nunthorpe, Middlesbrough in the United Kingdom in order to
facilitate co-operation, exchange of ideas, support and fellowship in
the great and enormous job being done in the Cathedral only. The
partnership link with
Deanery is yielding some level of support for the Diocese while the
link with St. Mary’s Church,
Nunthorpe, Middlesbrough
is still fresh and new and discussions are still on to see how the link
with the Cathedral can be best utilized and beneficiary to both parties,
The Diocese is however open to links and partnership in any part of the
world. It will be the greatest pleasure of the Diocese to have links
which will enhance its MISSIONARY AND EVANGELISTIC program.

The Anglican Diocese of Calabar is basically a rural and a missionary
Diocese which will warmly welcome committed and dedicated links to help
achieving its program of rural evangelism and outreach to areas where
idolatry; worship of objects, seas, fish, iron,
masquerades, deities, and all forms of superstition, currently prevails.
- These have impeded
the move of the word of God in several areas of the Diocese. In some
parts of Nigeria (and some parts of the Diocese) Islam is the major
institution to combat with during the crusades, but equally serious and
deadly is crude idolatry remitting in backwardness, ignorance and mental
poverty. The undiluted message of the gospel is the solution to this.
Please be a partner.
